Can’t find the $$dollar amount that was paid to the USDA (wonder why?) to murder the Prospect Park Geese (and/or for that matter, just an approx $ amount – per goose.  E.G. “I know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy who can off your goose for less than $50 a pop?”)  So if anyone has that info – great to post it here.  Anyway – I DO know that we could have used that blood money to clean up the park.  I went through today and here is what the park looks like.  Do you think that the money the USDA took from the city’s coffers could have been better spent getting rid of actual garbage?

Not to mention, every step you take on a Sunday morning, illegal firecracker wrappers, used condoms, emptied water bottles newly filled with human urine, soda and beer bottles…
but thank mayor bloomberg, the USDA (of all agencies, unbelievable!) and APHIS for getting rid of every single one of our resident geese.  Without disturbing any of our garbage.
